It started with a dream, a coal-fired oven, and a family recipe handed down through generations. In 2002, Anthony Bruno opened the first location in Doral, Florida, with a single belief: that the best pizza deserves the highest heat. Coal fires burn hotter and more evenly than any other fuel, and that intense heat — reaching over 800°F — creates a uniquely crisp, perfectly charred crust that you simply cannot replicate any other way.
Anthony grew up in South Philadelphia watching his grandmother roll dough by hand, stretch it with practiced ease, and slide it into the family's old coal oven. Those childhood smells of caramelized crust and bubbling fresh mozzarella never left him. When he relocated to Florida, he brought that tradition with him — and the community embraced it immediately.
What started as a single neighborhood pizza spot quickly became a beloved institution. Today, we remain true to the original vision: exceptional ingredients, uncompromising technique, and the kind of warm hospitality that makes every guest feel like family.
